ATTIC & ROOF INSULATION
Of the 20,000+ attics that our employees have visited to work on, only a handful was up to code in terms of the amount of insulation found in the space! For an attic to be up to code, it must have between 14 and 16 inches of cellulose attic insulation, and most homes we work on are closer to 5 inches. This being the OBC (Ontario Building code) value of R-60. Cellulose is a 100% Canadian made product that is made mostly of recycled newspaper and has approx. 80% recycled content. It is treated with Boric acid as a vermin retardant to keep mice and other critters out of your attic. No wonder they noticed a difference and called us!
