Introducing the New Enbridge & IESO Home Renovation Savings Program V2.1

If you’re thinking about upgrading your home’s insulation, there’s never been a better time! The latest Enbridge & IESO Home Renovation Savings Program offers bigger rebates and an easier process to help homeowners cut energy costs and improve overall comfort.
What’s New?
Higher Rebates:
- Up to $5,000 in total rebates for natural gas–heated homes.
- Up to $10,000 max rebate for electrically heated homes.
$600 Audit Reimbursement:
- Covers the cost of the initial energy audit. (One rebate per home)
At Least Two Upgrades Required:
- Enhance your home by choosing a combination of upgrades such as attic, basement, crawlspace, exterior walls, or foundation slab insulation.
Interest-Free Loan Option:
- Access a $40,000 interest-free loan to finance your insulation project alongside these rebates!
Flexible for Different Home Types:
- Primary and secondary residences (on a permanent foundation) are eligible.
- Detached, semi-detached, row, and mobile homes all qualify (subject to meeting program guidelines).
Final Audit Deadline:
- Must complete the final audit within 180 days of the first audit or by December 31, 2025 (whichever comes first).
Sample Insulation Rebates
Attic Insulation
- Upgrade from R12 or less to R50 or more
- Minimum 50% of attic area must be insulated
- Grant Up to $1,500
Cathedral/Flat Roof
- Upgrade from R12 or less to R20 or higher
- Prorated if you also do attic insulation
- Grant Up to $780
Exterior Wall Insulation
- Increase to at least R20 coverage for 20% or more of exterior walls
- Grant Up to $3,600
Basement & Crawlspace Walls
- Must insulate at least 20% of basement or crawlspace walls to qualify
- Grants Up to $1,500 depending on coverage and wall types
Foundation Slab
- Add at least R3.5 to 50% of the slab
- Grant $500
