DRILL AND FILL INSULATION IN MILTON
Boost Your Milton Home with Drill and Fill Insulation
When it's time to step up the insulation in your Milton home, Drill and Fill Insulation is the smart choice. We're here with two main types of insulation to meet your home's needs. Pick from our reliable cellulose insulation, perfect for attic spaces, or go for our 1-pound pourable foam, which is completely safe for homes and comes with CCMC approval.
CELLULOSE INSULATION: WHAT TO EXPECT
Choosing our cellulose insulation means:
- Protecting Your Stuff: We take care to cover your things to keep them safe.
- Drilling Holes: Expect us to make small holes, about 2 inches across, in the work areas.
- Keeping Dust Down: We work clean, aiming for the least dust possible.
- Hole Sealing: Once the Insulation is in place, we will seal the holes using sheetrock 90.
- Sealing Holes: We'll patch up the holes with sheetrock 90 after the insulation's in.
- Better Comfort and Savings: Look forward to a cozier home, less noise, and lower energy bills.
- Settling is Normal: Insulation can settle over time, which might cause tiny cracks.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
A few steps from you can help make the installation smooth:
- Clear Workspace: Please move furniture 5 feet away from the walls we'll work
- Prep Your Walls: Take down any wall hangings to avoid dust or damage.
- Furnace Off: Turning off your furnace can help reduce dust spread.
- Be Available: It's best to have someone around to talk with our team during the work.
1-POUND POURABLE FOAM INSULATION: WHAT TO EXPECT
If you choose our 1-pound pourable foam insulation, here's the drill:
- Belonging Protection: Just like with cellulose, we'll protect your stuff.
- Drilling Holes: We'll need a few more holes for this one, especially in tighter spots.
- Dust Control: Dust is still on our radar to keep to a minimum.
- Filling in Holes: After insulation, those holes will be patched with sheetrock 90.
- Enhanced Home Experience: Get ready for more comfort, less noise, and energy cost cuts.
- Expansion and Seal: This foam grows to fill gaps, ensuring a tight seal all over.
PREPPING FOR INSTALLATION
For our 1-pound pourable foam insulation, please:
- Move Furniture: Keep it at least 5 feet from our work area.
- Wall Prep: Clear your walls of any items to prevent dust damage.
- Furnace Off: A turned-off furnace helps keep the dust down.
- Stay in the Loop: Having someone on-site to talk things through is a big help.
Extra Steps to Take:
We ask that residents stay out of the house during and up to 24 hours post-application to let any fumes clear out.
